Hi, I’m Sarah Kothe, OTR/L, CHT, founder of Thermera and a Certified Hand Therapist.
Throughout my career as a hand therapist, I’ve seen how often people turn to heat for comfort—but traditional heating pads can make it difficult to move around and use your hands at the same time.
That inspired me to create something different.
I designed the Thermera Heated Thumb Brace to bring together comfortable support and portable heat in a design made for real life. From the placement of the heat to the supportive wrap around the thumb, every detail was developed through the lens of a hand therapist.
I wanted to create the product I wished I could give to my patients.
